Tendekai Muzorewa 

Missions and Outreach Coordinator

(Acting Chairman)

 

Tendekai Muzorewa earned his BS, Mathematics and Physics at Mount Union College, Alliance, OH and a BBA Studies, Accounting and Computer Science  Kent State University, Kent, OH. Tendekai has professional experience as a Senior IT manager, Project Manager.  His project management experience include managing global system and has international project management.

 

Tendekai’s experience as a project manager along with his computer systems background has been a valuable asset to the foundation and the numerous projects that BATMEF is involved with.    He is actively involved with his church in the missions committee in San Antonio, TX. Tendekai  participates and pursues education, medical and construction mission trips to many countries including Mexico and Africa.                                   Tafadzwa Mudam banuki
                                            Board Member
 
Pastor Mudambanuki is a staff member of United Methodist Communications. He attended a University in Sierra Leone, where he majored in geography and minored in English. Returning home to Zimbabwe, he taught at Murewa High School, eventually becoming headmaster of the school.

He went on to receive advanced degrees in the United States in journalism, religious communications and information sciences, and joined United Methodist Communications in Nashville, Tenn., in 2004. He is co-coordinator of the Central Conference Communications Initiative, which is building communications resources for the church in Africa, Asia and parts of Europe. Chipo Muzorewa 

                                       Secretary for the Board

                           Publicity and Communications Coordinator

 

Chipo holds a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration, from Morningside College, Sioux City, Iowa during which she gained work experience as a Human Resource Intern and a Financial Consultant intern at the Prudential Preferred Financial Services. Before embarking on her MBA, Part I in Paris and Part II at the University of Hartford, Connecticut, Chipo received full time practical training, again with Prudential Preferred Financial Services in Westwood, Massachusetts as their Human Resources Assistant.

Ms Chipo Muzorewa has over 10 years experience volunteering with charitable and service organizations such as Rotary where she was a Board member, Club Secretary and a Project Administrator for a medical volunteers program in Zimbabwe.  Ms. Muzorewa is involved with non- governmental organizations in the USA affiliated to the United Nations, is an Ambassador for Peace and she has interned on Capitol Hill while pursuing a Masters degree with a concentration in peacebuilding in New York.. Ms. Chipo Muzorewa who is a Certified Factoring Specialist and a founding director of African Factors (Pvt) Ltd. has a host of valuable experience that she brings to BATMEF and the foundation is so fortunate to have her on the Board 

 
 
                                       
                                               Steve Capper
                                       Chief Financial Officer
 
Pastor Steve Capper earned a Master of Divinity degree from Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Texas A&M University has been on staff with Mission Houston as the Executive Director since 2003. Rev Capper has worked in vocational ministry since 1978, and came to Houston in 1994 to be the Rector at the Church of the Redeemer, an inner-city Episcopal church. Steve has been a consultant to congregations since 1992 and serves also as a consultant to Christians in cities in both North America and southern Africa regarding community transformation. In addition, Steve serves congregations throughout greater Houston in preaching, teaching, and leading retreats and mission trips to Africa.                                    Fungai Muzorewa-Bennett Esq

                                                Board Member
 
Fungai Muzorewa-Bennett hold a degree in law from the University of Ohio. She is on staff at the District Attorney for Durham County office in North Carolina. Fungai is a valuable asset to the Board with her legal expertise.

                                                       Susan Muzorewa

                                      Auditor and Accountant
Susan holds a degree in Accounting and is a CPA.  She is completing her Doctorate 2010.  BATMEF is fortunate to have on board to audit assist the Finance Committee
 
 
 
 
 
                                                         
                                        Charity Muzorewa-Tirivepi
                                                    Board Member

Charity holds a Bachelors in Nursing and a Masters of Hospital Administration for the USA. She is an experienced Registered Nurse with background in Legal Nurse Consulting, Critical Care, Home Health Care, Long-term Care and Case Management.  She has experience with mission trips coordination and is the Director of the Lead I Care Division of Lead International Ministry. Charity is involved with BATMEF’s medical relief projects and Coordinates the medical missions projects for the foundation.
