ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

The Bishop A. T. Muzorewa Evangelism Foundation (BATMEF) is non-profit organization registered in the USA.  BATMEF was founded because of the the living legacy that captures the vision and values of Bishop Muzorewa’s life and work.

The foundation was launched in 2005 in Old Mutare where there was a celebration of the Bishop's 60 years in ministry.  Our work at BATMEF is a celebration of Bishop Muzorewa's life.

Although the Bishop is retired he has been very active with many activities and projects (read more about these in the pages of this website).

BATMEF embodies the spirit of reconciliation, promotes the values of fairness and opportunity for all.  These values have Bishop Muzorewa involved with many organizations :-
